Great place to stay with the family and very good hosts who always got back to me.

Decent for a night, but nothing special Positive: One of the best parts was the enclosed area outside, which was perfect for our pet to play safely. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook — including an oven, toaster, and all the essentials. Of course wine and chocolate gift at cold weather was plus Negative: However, we did notice a strong smell of dust in the house upon arrival. There was only a split system in the living room, so the bedrooms got quite cold at night. A portable heater was provided in one of the bedrooms, but it had a thick layer of dust on it, which made us hesitant to use it.

Beautiful Metung base camp to enjoy all that the Gippsland Lakes have to offer Positive: Great location with all the comforts required for a family stay. Little welcome gift of chocolates and wine was a lovely surprise. Great yard area for our fur babies Negative: nothing

Not the worst place we have stayed in but could do with a little more upkeep. Positive: We could take the dogs. Dishwasher and washing machine.Plenty of room and good location. Negative: Unfortunately wasn’t as clean as it could have been. The front door handle was very loose and broken. The place had a stale smell when you walked in. Still a dirty towel hanging behind the bedroom door. Dust and behind the bathroom door down the edge was filthy. Cobwebs and spiders on the cornices.
